Agriscience Foundations

Sponsored by the American Society of Agronomy, this Certiport exam certifies the essential knowledge and skills for an entry-level role in agriculture: plant, animal, and soil science; food safety; agricultural safety and regulations; record keeping; and efficient use of resources. Complete 150 hours or more of instruction and/or hands-on experience before the exam. Typical roles include agricultural technician assistant, farm or ranch hand, greenhouse or nursery worker, and agricultural research assistant.
