English for IT offers three CEFR-aligned exams that validate reading, listening, and IT-specific language — with speaking and writing at A2 and B1. NEXERA Institute helps you prepare and schedule through our OpenEDG / Certiport partnership.

Pre-intermediate · GSE 22–42

English for IT A2 Pre-Intermediate

Validates beginner English in IT contexts (CEFR A2). Tests reading, listening, speaking, writing, and IT-specific grammar and vocabulary. Shows entry-level professional English, helps non-IT staff communicate in IT settings, and prepares learners for higher English for IT levels.

Exams run on OpenEDG’s TestNow platform, not Certiport Compass. Levels follow CEFR and the Global Scale of English (GSE). Objectives are set with industry and education experts. Lengths, accommodations, retakes, and proctoring are defined by OpenEDG and Certiport.
