Whether starting a bakery or launching the next billion-dollar startup, ESB validates understanding of core business principles needed to launch and maintain a successful business.Candidates are expected to have key conceptual knowledge of entrepreneurial and small business principles through at least 150 hours of instruction. ESB engages and prepares students for additional postsecondary training or entry into the small business sector — ensuring they are college and career ready.

Foundation · Intuit & NFTE

Entrepreneurship and Small Business

Validates foundation-level entrepreneurship and small business skills: recognizing and evaluating opportunities; planning, launching, and running a business; marketing and sales; venture and seed funding; and financial management. Choose a country-specific exam when available, or the Universal exam.

Country-specific ESB exams use local currency and terminology when available; the Universal exam uses euros. Exam lengths, objective domains, accommodations, retakes, and proctoring requirements are defined by Certiport, Intuit, and NFTE.
